Keep posted for the latest on my fight to be Charlie Sheen's #tigerbloodintern

No news, but I remain hopeful.

Almost a month has gone by and none of us have heard anything — AT ALL — about the internship. Ugh! You know, if this was a regular internship/job application, I would’ve contacted my potential employer already to see what’s going on. I want an answer, even if it’s a ‘no.’

Anywho, to keep myself motivated (plus I was cleaning my room), I’ve put up some Tiger Blood stuff around my bedroom.

My posters, that they didn't let me take in 😦

Signed poster, ticket and meet&greet armband!

Thanks James for capturing that video! What a crazy torpedo of emotions and adrenaline getting up on that stage. Through the ups and downs I remained composed and smiling, woo! Plus, Charlie said he “likes my spirit.” #winning

Boss and Intern

Charlie Sheen and me after his Tampa show

Defeat is definitely not an option

Me and Charlie Sheen on stage -- I cant believe it!

April 22, 2011 has got to be the craziest day I’ve had in a very, very long time.

I did interviews with so many different media outlets. (Wanna see the stories? Check out my list!) I was in three live shots between two stations. A complete stranger gave me floor seat and meet and greet tickets.

But what stood out the most is that I met the Boss Man himself — TWICE.

The first time was on-stage during his show. Cowhead from 102.5 The Bone let Charlie Sheen know there was a future intern in the audience and Sheen let him invite me on stage.

Check out the pictures on my Flickr stream! (thanks to friend/photog/publicist/ Sid!)

I asked Sheen why he hasn’t chose me as his social media intern yet. He laughed and smiled. I think I caught him off guard!

Then after the show, I was able to meet Charlie Sheen again and take my picture with him! (Still waiting on those from Sheen’s people) When it was my turn, we had an interesting conversation.

Me: “Hello, boss.”
Sheen: “Hello, intern,”
Me: “For real, Charlie. I’m your girl. I’m the one you should pick for this internship.”
Sheen: “You’re not in the top fifty?”
Me: “Oh yes I am! Look me up!”
Sheen: “Amy?”
Me: “Amy Mariani!”
Sheen: “Amy Mariani … got it!”

I took my signed poster and skipped away happily. If this doesn’t give me an edge, I don’t know what will!

I’m #winning.

I met and hugged my future boss. I got on stage. I took a picture with him. He remembered my name.

I will come back and blog the details later. I’m about to CRASH.

It’s 3 a.m. and I should be sleeping, but …

I’m not, obviously. It must be all that Tiger Blood running through my veins.

It’s also because I just got off the phone with someone who might give me the opportunity to be on TMZ. News never sleeps and I love it.

Today has been a WHIRLWIND of media coverage and I love it. I was on TWO television stations, mentioned on THREE websites and in two newspapers today. Can you say #winning?

I couldn’t be happier with the news package put together by Preston Rudie over at 10 News. It was so much fun! And with that endorsement from THE Reggie Roundtree during the tag out?! What more could a girl ask for :).

Explaining to Preston Rudie why I'm #winning!

Spray paint and duct tape and media outlets, oh my!

T-minus one day until Charlie Sheen’s show here in Tampa!

Oh, I’ll be there all right. And I’ve got a plan to get some attention. I’m not telling you! Nor did I tell TBO when they asked! It’s ok, though, they still ran my story online and on News Channel 8, twice! Want to read the story? Here ya go. Or would you rather watch a video? They’ve got that too.

Also, Florida Trend picked up the story and made me Florida’s Quote of the Day!  Neat.

Yay multimedia journalism!

Anywho, between now and Friday I’m prepping for the show. Here’s a clue:

I wasnt even carded when I bought these. Im getting old.
